Public Lending Right (PLR)

One benefit of being an author is Public Lending Right. This year over 23,000 UK authors will be paid from the Public Lending Right fund for library loans on their books. Today is statement day and after confidently predicting to my husband my PLR last week I’m glad to see its within a fifty pounds of my estimate. Should’ve gone to Ladbrokes.

Registering for PLR is free and you can do it online.  If you are a published author and you are not registered for PLR you’re missing out on money SO DO IT NOW.
